Scholarships Awarded To Solon High Schoolers

SOLON, OH — Eight graduating seniors from Solon High School recently received scholarships through the Solon Chamber of Commerce. Each scholarship awarded is sponsored by a local company. The recipients were honored at a luncheon on Tuesday.

The Solon Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation has been awarding scholarships since 1975. To date, $364,000 in scholarships have been given to 342 students, all from Solon.

This year, scholarships were awarded to the following Solon High School graduating seniors:

• Leila Akberdin, The Swagelok Foundation Scholarship;
• Yana Vinogradskaya, The Mid-America Corporation/Solon Square Shopping Center Scholarship;
• Olivia Chamberlain, Christopher Tool & Manufacturing Scholarship;
• Audrey Villarosa, Solon Orthodontics,
• Philip D. Bomeli, DDS Scholarship;
• Francesca Rappaselli, Tektronix Engineering Scholarship;
• Hounein Arbaji, Root-InfoTech Scholarship and Horizon Global Americas Scholarship;
• Annie Liu, The Gallman Group@RE/Max Scholarship.
