Solon-Based HDT Global Names New Chief Executive

Solon-based HDT Global, which produces military and emergency equipment, has named a new chief executive officer.

Jason Chamberlain was named Friday as the company's new president and CEO. He replaces John Gilligan, was has served as interim CEO for the last six months.

Chamberlain joined HDT Global in March 2010. He has more than 30 years of manufacturing experience in the defense industry and, before that, was an Army officer.

HDT, located at 30500 Aurora Road in Solon, produces military-grade equipment and supplies, including shelters, generators, parachutes, robotics and other technology used by the military, governments and corporations.
