Solon Center For The Arts Parking Lot Closing Wednesday
With after school classes starting next week, visitors will need to find someplace else to leave their car.

SOLON, OH — Visitors to the Solon Center for the Arts (CFA) will have to find another place to park starting Wednesday. The facility's parking lot is being shut down for repairs. The construction will last for at least a week, and potentially much longer depending on the weather, the CFA's manager told Patch.
Construction will be focused on repairing the area of several parking spaces, as well as the sidewalk near the CFA. The CFA said on Facebook that during construction, patrons should use the auxiliary parking lot across Bainbridge Road next to Solon Historical Society.
Visitors could also try the the Solon City Hall parking lot, but Tracy Sullivan, manager of CFA, said she isn't sure it's ideal. "We're not quite sure visitors will be able to get to our facility easily from there," she said. She said she highly suggests parking next to the Solon Historical Society.

Sullivan added that the week of Aug. 16, when construction is slated to start, shouldn't be too busy at CFA. However, the week of Aug. 21 will see classes start for after-school programs. That means CFA will be busier and Sullivan doesn't want visitors blindsided.

"We want them to know where to park," she said.
