Solon resident Al Hancock, the past president of the Mechanical Bank Collectors of America and co-host of the national convention here in Cleveland in 2006. Al saw his first Mechanical Bank at an antique show in 1989, because of his engineering background, Al fell in love with their unique design and great mechanical articulation. That was the start of his years of collecting. He will share his passion of mechanical banks, their history, and anecdotes on collecting. Everyone is encouraged to bring in any mechanical banks to be valuated by Al. Mark your calendars for this very interesting program.
