Solon Library Now Open To Public

All Cuyahoga County Library branches are open for limited, in-person hours.

SOLON, OH — The Solon Public Library is now open to the public.

The Cuyahoga County Public Library system opened all of its branches on Monday. Masks are required to enter any branch.

The first hour of each day will be open only to high-risk customers. Solon residents can schedule a curbside pick-up time at their library, if they don't want to go into the branch.

Libraries will be open during the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday — 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Friday to Saturday — 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday — 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

All libraries will be limited to 25 percent of their normal capacity. Library interiors may look different to customers due to rearranging for physical distancing. Toys and other interactive spaces will not be open.

Surfaces will be wiped down multiple times per day and hand sanitizer will be available at all branches. Returned materials will be quarantined for 96 hours before being returned to circulation.

Masks must cover a customer's nose and mouth during their entire visit to the library. Face shields, bandanas and face coverings that do not cover the nose and mouth will not be permitted. Children 2 and under do not have to wear a mask inside the library.
