Solon Man Accused of Assaulting Pregnant Ex-Fiancé

The victim was visibly bruised when she reported the attack to police.

SOLON, OH - A pregnant 26-year-old Solon woman told police that her ex-fiancé viciously assaulted her on Sept. 22.

She told officers that she and her ex, Kevin Radke, 44 of Solon, had gotten into an argument and he threatened to destroy property that belonged to the woman and her three children. Radke then grabbed her by the throat, slammed her head against the refrigerator, and punched her in the stomach, she said. The woman is six weeks pregnant with Radke's child. Her other three children are not related to the suspect.

Police were told that Radke then smacked her twice in the face and slammed her head into the kitchen doorway. Officers say the woman was visibly bruised when she came into the station.
