Solon Named One Of The Best Communities For Music Education
The Solon Schools received the honor from the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation.
SOLON, OH — The Solon City Schools were recently honored as one of the Best Communities for Music Education in the nation.
The award was given by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation (NAMM). The national program that determines the awards attempts to recognize communities that champion music education at all levels of education.
“The Best Communities for Music Education award is important for our students because it underscores our commitment to music education,” said Solon Schools Superintendent Joseph Regano. “Music programming in the Solon Schools offers a broad array of choices for students to learn and perform music. This award also reflects the district’s partnership with our families and community that values and supports the arts.”
