Solon Police Stop 1 Car, Arrest 3 People During Traffic Stop
A car driving erratically on US 422 turned out to have three wanted people in the vehicle, including a man wanted for robbery in Cleveland.

SOLON, OH - You've heard the expression two birds, one stone? Solon Police got three birds for one stone this past week. During a traffic stop, police arrested or cited three people in one car, including a man wanted for robbery in Cleveland. Read on for more details.
OVI, US 422: Police spotted a car going east on US 422 doing 90 mph in a 60 mph zone. Officers stopped the car and spoke to the driver, noting what they believed were signs of impairment. The driver was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which suggested impairment. Stephen Jett, 54, of Solon, was arrested and taken to jail. He blew a .157. He was charged with OVI, Prohibited BAC, and Speed.
Wrongful Entrustment, SR 91: Callers reported an erratic driver going east on US 422 on Feb. 18. Police caught up to the car as it exited SR 91 and pulled into True North Shell, 6170 SOM Center Rd. The driver, Keyron Thomas, 22 of Cleveland, had no license and was wanted for robbery in Cleveland for failing to pay fines in Strongsville. He was additionally charged with Driving without a License, No License Plate Illumination, Failure to Drive in Marked Lanes, and Possession of Marijuana. The owner and front seat passenger Ashley Whitaker, 22 of Cleveland, was charged with Wrongful Entrustment. The back seat passenger Amhad Jones, 23 of Cleveland, was held on two warrants, one for a probation violation through Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation (original charge flight to avoid) and one for a parole violation through the Ohio Department of Corrections (original charge robbery).

Theft, Naiman Parkway: On Feb. 20, police were called to Arco Comfort Air, 5325 Naiman Parkway, for a work van that had been broken into. The van was victimized between Feb. 17 and Feb. 20. Approximately $2,000 worth of tools were stolen from the van.
