Solon Road Rage Incident Becomes Vicious Roadside Assault
An irate man followed a woman onto SR 91, threw snow at her, and then repeatedly punched her in the face.

SOLON, OH - A driving incident turned into a vicious assault on Dec. 14. Police were called to SR 91 and Station Street at 2:35 p.m. when callers reported that some kind of brawl was developing on the side of the road.
When police arrived, a 25-year-old female victim was still at the scene of the fight. The 49-year-old male suspect had fled in his pickup truck and was picked up on Station Street.
According to the victim and several witnesses, the two were involved in some kind of driving altercation on SR 422 and the spat continued onto Station Street. At that point, the man got out of his pickup and began screaming at the female victim and throwing snow in her face and on her car.

The woman then got out of her car and the man threw her to the ground, got on to top of her, and began hitting her in the face. Bystanders eventually broke up the assault.
Jerome Ipser, 49 from Reminderville, was arrested for assault. The victim is a 25 year female from Bainbridge.
