Solon Schools Closed Thursday, Friday
Due to extreme cold, the district is closing school through the rest of the week.
SOLON, OH — The Solon City Schools will be closed Thursday, Jan. 4, and Friday, Jan. 5, due to weather, the district announced on its website. Freezing cold temperatures have swept into Northeast Ohio, with wind chill temperatures in the -15 degree region. Thirty minutes of exposure to that cold can cause frost bite, according to the National Weather Service.
