Solon Schools Get 'A' On State Report Card

The Solon City Schools are again among the highest performing districts in the state.

SOLON, OH — The controversial state report cards grading each school system in the state were released Thursday. The Solon City Schools receive an overall grade of "A."

Districts are graded on six components and on student performance on state assessments administered to students in grades 3-12.

"We’re just celebrating everyone’s success and the hard work that goes into achieving these results," a Solon Schools spokesperson told Patch. "It’s work by everyone in the district in all of our classrooms. It’s a testament to the grit and perseverance that everyone puts in to make sure the needs of all students are being met everyday."
