Solon Students Sign Letters Of Intent To Play College Sports

The students will play sports for universities like Cornell, Michigan and Indiana State.

SOLON, OH — Six Solon High students signed National Letters of Intent to play college sports this month. The students will attend universities like Indiana State, Cornell, and Michigan.

On November 13, six students playing baseball, lacrosse, track and diving signed their letters of intent. Those students, and their selected schools, are:

  • Nate Kusner, Baseball, Kent State University
  • Sloan Ulrich, Baseball, Indiana State University
  • Tara FitzGerald, Diving, University of Cincinnati
  • Jackson Salisbury, Diving, University of Pittsburgh
  • Sam Young, Track, Cornell University
  • Grant McCurry, Lacrosse, University of Michigan

"Congratulations to the Comet student athletes, their families and coaches," the Solon City Schools said in a statement.
