Solon Students Win Journalism Awards
The SHS Courier, the online-only student newspaper, and its student journalists received 13 awards for their work.

SOLON, OH — Students working for the Solon High School newspaper, the SHS Courier, have garnered a bevy of awards from the Ohio Scholastic Media Association. The online-only publication received 13 awards this year.
"We're very proud of our students and what they've accomplished," Tamara Strom, a Solon Schools spokesperson told Patch.
The paper is produced by the students in a journalism class at the high school. Students have been unable to meet in the second semester, so the paper's last published stories date to Dec. 2019.
