A Conversation with Eleanor and Lucretia
Join Solon Women's Club as we kick off our new year with a special program, We Made History, featuring two First Ladies from the Presidential Living Historians organization. Eleanor Roosevelt and Lucretia Garfield share their differences and commonalities as they meet over a cup of tea. You'll be surprised by the experiences they shared on their paths to the White House. Dressed in historic costumes, they stay in character as they talk about being a president's wife in their respective times in history. The program is followed by a Q & A session and photographs are encouraged!
