Roxbury was nominated for the award by the Ohio Department of Education and subsequently completed a comprehensive application about the school and its instructional practices. Roxbury was honored as an Exemplary High Performing School, identifying it as among the top schools in the state, according to the U.S. Department of Education. The award is based on students’ overall academic excellence.
