State Representative Marlene Anielski was a celebrity reader on Thursday, April 10th Β for kindergarten, first, and second grade students at Roxbury Elementary School in Solon.
Rep. Anielski read a book to the class, which was written and illustrated by her son, Joseph. The book was titled, βThe Best Week Ever," and the children actually saw the magic green potion from the story! Roxbury Elementary is currently celebrating their Right to Read Week with a βHit It Out-Of- The-Park with Readingβ theme.
βThe students really enjoyed the opportunity to meet Rep. Anielski today and have her share her special story with them,β said Roxbury Principal Carla Rodenbucher. βHaving an Ohio legislator as a guest reader was an excellent connection for our students as part of our Right to Read Week celebration.β
