Stolen Minivan Recovered By Solon Police
A patrolling officer spotted a minivan reported stolen by Cleveland Police and arrested the driver.

SOLON, OH — Police recovered a stolen minivan when it cruised down Solon Road, past a patrol officer. The driver of the van has been arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, police said.
The minivan was spotted at about 6:15 a.m. on November 14. The van was going east on Solon Road. An officer ran the vehicle's plates and saw that it had been entered as stolen by Cleveland Police.
The officer followed the minivan for a while, until backup arrived. Then he initiated a traffic stop near Maple Street, in Chagrin Falls.

The driver, a 52-year-old Cleveland man, was arrested after talking with police. He had a suspended license and is being charged with receiving stolen property and driving under suspension.
