Surprise Donation: Solon Graduate Donates $100,000 to School District
According to a story in the Chagrin Solon Sun, graduate David Keske has donated $100,000 to Solon Schools

The Chagrin Solon Sun has a nice story this week about a 1961 Solon graduate who donated $100,000 to the school district.
David Keske, who now lives in St. Louis, often makes donations to support education initiatives through the David G. and Karen A. Keske Charitable Foundation.
The donation translates to $2,000 for every year since Keske's graduation 50 years ago.

He told Solon officials that he wants the money used for materials, supplies and equipment and not for salaries.
Keske donated the money discreetly, going through his attorney.

Solon schools told the newspaper they were very surpised by the donation but very proud that Keske decided to take such a charitable action toward his school.
“So often people look back at their colleges," school board member Margaret Morrow told the Sun. "To come back to his roots is wonderful."
