Suspected Drug Trafficker Busted In Solon
During a routine traffic stop, police discovered suspected cocaine, marijuana and various prescription pills on a man.

SOLON, OH — Police are pursuing drug trafficking charges against a 55-year-old Garfield Heights man that was arrested on Sept. 8. Officers found suspected cocaine and a clear bag of various pills in the man's pocket.
The incident started on US 422 at about 8 p.m. Police stopped a car for driving 81 mph in a 60 mph zone on the highway.

Officers requested a canine be brought in from Bainbridge Police. The dog reacted twice on the passenger side of Tvergyak's vehicle while performing its sniff around, police say. That prompted a search of the vehicle.
Searching the car, police found numerous prescription drugs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Tvergyak was then arrested.

Before going into Solon Jail, officers told Tvergyak he would need to remove any other drugs on his person. Tvergyak denied having any other drugs and was booked into the jail. Tvergyak has been charged with speeding, trafficking in drugs, drug possession, possession of paraphernalia and transporting prohibited items into a jail facility. Additional felony charges may be added depending on the lab results.
