Suspected Drunk Driver Hits Tree, Rings Doorbells In Solon
The driver was taken to Ahuja Medical Center for treatment after she hurt her mouth in her car crash.

SOLON, OH — A 45-year-old Solon woman has been charged for hitting a tree with her truck and then ringing doorbells on Springside Lane. The woman was taken to Ahuja Medical Center for treatment.
Police were called to Springside Lane at about 2:40 a.m. for reports of a person ringing a resident's doorbell. The resident said they did not know who the person was.
Officers found a car in the resident's driveway. The car had Tennessee plates and one of the officers recognized the vehicle and knew it belonged to a Ledge Hill Drive resident.

Officers then went to the home on Ledge Hill and spoke with a resident. He said that his wife was out with a friend who lives on Springside Lane, and police were able to contact the friend. She told police that she had taken the 45-year-old to Ahuja.
The 45-year-old had been hurt when she drove her truck into a tree on Springfield Lane. She appeared to be drunk when talking with police.

She agreed to provide a urine sample for testing. In the meantime, she has been charged with failure to control, no seat belt and operating a vehicle while impaired. Additional charges may be added after the Ohio State Highway Patrol finishes testing the sample.
