Taser, OC Spray, K9 Used To Subdue Suspect Chased By Solon Cops
A 46-year-old man reportedly led several police departments on a car chase before resisting arrest.

SOLON, OH — A 46-year-old Reminderville man led police on a city-hopping car chase that ended with stop sticks, tasers and a K-9 unit. Harry Klun is being charged with felony fleeing and eluding, resisting an officer and speeding by Solon Police. Other cities police departments may also press charges against Klun.
At 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 16, Twinsburg officers were pursuing a black car on Liberty Road heading into Solon. Solon Police Department was notified of the chase.
A Solon cop then saw a black car going west on Ohio Route 43, near Clearwater Lane, and tried to stop the vehicle. The black vehicle kept driving and the officer pursued the car until the chase hit the area of Ohio Route 91 and Cannon Road. That's when the officer terminated his pursuit.

The same black car was later seen at a Shell gas station in Woodmere. Police say that's where Klun fueled up. When Woodmere police approached, Klun reportedly rammed a patrol car and sped off. Officers from Woodmere and Orange gave chase, before eventually terminating their pursuit.
Police in Twinsburg and Reminderville had found Klun's residence and went to his home to try and find him. He wasn't there.

Then a Solon cop saw someone who appeared to be Klun on Liberty Road, this time heading south. Police pursued the vehicle into Macedonia.
Officers deployed stop sticks, tire deflation devices, and Klun's vehicle broke down near the United Methodist Church parking lot. When police tried to take him into custody, he resisted arrest.
Solon officers then subdued Klun using a taser, OC spray and a K-9, which grabbed Klun on the arm, according to a spokesperson for Solon Police. He suffered only minor injuries during the scuffle and did not require hospitalization, police said.
