Teens Eat Marijuana-Laced Cinnamon Bun Then Call Solon Police

The teens told officers they weren't "feeling right."

SOLON, OH — A group of teenagers called the police after they ate a marijuana-laced cinnamon bun and then began not "feeling right."

The teenagers called police on the last day of February, at approximately 8:30 p.m. The four teens had gone to a movie at AMC Theater, on Enterprise Parkway. The group had eaten the edible (the marijuana-laced bakery) and then gone inside.

One of the four teenagers then called police and said they were not "feeling right." Police and fire crews were called to the scene to examine the teenagers.

Solon Fire and Rescue examined the teenagers and police searched their vehicle. The homemade cinnamon bun was found in the car, and tested positive for having THC.

All four teenagers were taken to the hospital. Two of the teenagers, both 18-years-old and both from Maple Heights, are being charged with drug possession. They were later released to their families.

The other two teenagers are juveniles and were released to their relatives, according to police.
