Two Drunk Drivers Arrested In Solon In One Day
Police saw a car almost hit a light pole before parking in a construction zone. The driver was, shockingly, found to be impaired.

SOLON, OH — Police watched a 28-year-old Aurora man pilot his car into the parking lot of Grantwood Golf Course then almost hit a light pole before parking in a construction area. To the shock and surprise of no one, the 28-year-old was found to be intoxicated and was eventually arrested.
Solon Police said they put the 28-year-old through field sobriety tests, which indicated the man was impaired. They then took the man to Solon Jail where he blew a .141 on a breath test. He has been charged with operating a vehicle impaired and prohibited BAC.
That was one of two OVI arrests Solon Police made on April 21. The second happened at 9:40 p.m. on US 422. Officers saw a car driving well under the speed limit and weaving between lanes. Police pulled the car over and immediately noticed that the driver, a 50-year-old man from Cleveland, smelled of alcohol.
