Two Former Mayors File For Solon School Board Seats

Former mayor Kevin Patton and Robert Paulson are among crowd hoping to win one of three open seats on the school board

While the races for Solon City Council seats have no competition, the school board election is setting up to be a mad scramble.

Seven candidates have filed for the three open seats, including two former Solon mayors, Kevin C. Patton and Robert A. Paulson.

The three incumbents -- Julie Glavin, Roger Goudy and Dorothy Seibert -- have also filed to reclaim their seats.

The other candidates who have filed so far include Chris Bryant and John Heckman.

More candidates can still enter the fray. The deadline to file is Aug. 10.
