Two Loaded Guns Found During Solon Traffic Stop
The driver had an expired concealed carry permit. Plus, three drivers are arrested for driving impaired.

SOLON, OH — Police arrested three people for driving impaired over the last two full weeks of May. A fourth person was arrested for illegally carrying two concealed weapons. Read about all of those incidents in the blotter below.
OVI, May 18 — A 31-year-old Twinsburg man was arrested for alleged drinking and driving after police stopped his car on SR 43. At about 8 p.m., officers pulled over a car that was driving 53 mph in a 35 mph zone. The driver smelled like alcohol and had bloodshot, glassy eyes, according to police. Field sobriety tests were given and indicated impairment. The 31-year-old was arrested. He was taken to Solon Jail where he refused to take a breath test. He has been charged with operating a vehicle impaired and speeding.
OVI, May 20 — Police stopped a car on US 422 for driving 82 mph in a 60 mph zone. The 24-year-old driver, a Bedford man, was found to be impaired, police said. There were open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle. The 24-year-old was arrested and taken to Solon Jail where he refused to take a breath test. He is charged with operating a vehicle impaired, driving under suspension, open container in a motor vehicle and speeding.

Carrying Concealed Weapons, May 22 — A car with excessively tinted windows was stopped on SR 91. Police found two loaded guns inside the car, which belonged to a 27-year-old Aurora man. The man had an expired concealed carry permit. He has been charged with carrying concealed weapons and issued a written warning for excessive window tint.
OVI, May 24 — A 24-year-old Bainbridge man was stopped on US 422 after he passed a cop at a traffic stop while speeding. The man was stopped and showed signs of impairment in a series of field sobriety tests. He was arrested and taken to Solon Jail where he took a breath test. He blew a .132. He is charged with operating a vehicle impaired, prohibited BAC, marked lanes, speeding and approaching a stationary public safety vehicle displaying emergency lights.
