Two Residents Tussle Over Syringe, Drug Abuse In Solon

Police said they were called to a local home and found one resident trying to stop another from injecting themselves with a syringe.

SOLON, OH — Solon Police had to arrest a 23-year-old resident for having drug abuse instruments in his possession on the last day of March. According to police reports, the 23-year-old was found being restrained by another Solon resident.

According to police information provided to Patch, officers were called to a home on Cannon Road a little before 1 p.m. on March 31. They arrived to find a 38-year-old man restraining a 23-year-old.

The police learned that the 23-year-old had allegedly been trying to inject himself with drugs using syringes. Officers arrested the 23-year-old and charged him with possession of drug abuse instruments.

Police records said the 23-year-old was a guest at the home of the 38-year-old. It's not yet clear how the two residents found themselves in that position.

A spokesperson for Solon Police has not yet responded to Patch's request for more information. Patch will update this story when more information becomes available.
