Unlocked Locker At Solon Gym Leads To Credit Card Fraud
The woman left her backpack, with her car keys inside, in a locker at a local gym. Someone then went on a spending spree with her card.

SOLON, OH — A moment of forgetfulness at a local gym could cost a woman a lot of money. A Twinsburg woman left her car keys in an unlocked locker, which was then targeted by a thief. Things then spun out of control.

Breaking and Entering, Oct. 11 — Someone broke into the maintenance garage of Park East Apartments and stole a Ryobi cut off saw, valued at $89. The theft must have occurred between Oct. 10 and Oct. 11.

Theft, Oct. 11 — While working out at Planet Fitness, 33605 Aurora Rd., someone stole a 24-year-old Twinsburg woman's car keys. The woman had placed her backpack in an unlocked locker at the gym. When the woman went to the parking lot, she found that her car was unlocked, the keys were in the center console and the woman's wallet was missing. Fraudulent charges were made on the woman's credit card. After an investigation, police arrested a suspect.
Theft, Oct. 16 — The construction site manager at Primrose Schools called police to report that someone broke into the construction site over the weekend and stole $2,050 of equipment. Workers left the site at 3 p.m. Friday morning and return Oct. 16 at 7:20 a.m.

Theft, Oct. 17 — A 22-year-old Solon resident found that someone stole his loaded 9 mm. Beretta handgun from his unlocked car. The car was parked in the resident's driveway and the theft had to have occurred between 6 p.m. Oct. 16 and 12 p.m. Oct. 17.
Disorderly Conduct, Oct. 18 — Police were called to the Crossroad Bar at the Solon Motel, 32575 Aurora Rd., for an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance. A 46-year-old Garfield Heights woman was then escorted out of the bar by police. Officers attempted to get the woman to go to a friend's house, but were unsuccessful. The woman was then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
