Viewfinder: Celtic Duo Educate and Entertain

Lisa and Heather Malyuk, a celtic folk music duo, struck a chord with many Solon residents who turned out to see them Tuesday evening at the Solon library.

They performed on the hammered dulcimer, guitar, fiddle, and banjo uke. Classic Celtic tunes were in the forefront, although they also played Appalachian music and several original compositions.

Everyone flocked to touch the instruments and ask questions once the show was over.
