Ward 3 Council Seat Open In Solon

The city is currently seeking applicants to fill the seat. Resumes will be accepted until Aug. 4.

SOLON, OH — The city is seeking an interim Ward 3 council member to fill out city council. The selected representative for the ward will only spend about three months on council until the Nov. 7, 2017 elections determine the official, full-time Ward 3 rep.

The qualifications for eligibility include being a resident of the city for 18 months, living in Ward 3, and holding no other public office. Interested applicants should submit a resume, along with a letter of interest, to Carol J. McConoughey, clerk of council, 34200 Bainbridge Road, Solon, OH, 44139. The deadline for applications is Aug. 4 at 4 p.m.
