Yours Truly Bringing New Location To Solon

This will be the 10th Yours Truly restaurant opened since 1981.

SOLON, OH — Yours Truly will open its 10th restaurant on Kruse Drive in Solon. The company wants to open their new location before the end of 2019.

“We have been wanting to welcome a Yours Truly restaurant to the City of Solon for several years and I’m delighted that we now can,” said Solon Mayor Ed Kraus in a statement. “Solon is proud to celebrate this special anniversary with them and many more to come.”

Construction on the site should start in spring, the city said. The Solon location will be 5,000 square feet, with a full bar, like other Yours Truly restaurants. There will also be a pick-up window for pre-placed carry out and catering orders.

Architecturally, the building will have a similar feel to other Yours Truly locations, but with an expanded outdoor patio bar, fire pit, and with private party and meeting rooms.

“The YTR team is revolutionizing what began in a tiny 30 seat diner in Beachwood. 38 years ago. Look for more locations, and lots of technology upgrades in the coming years” said Chairman of the Board Larry Shibley.

Solon was selected as the site of the next Yours Truly restaurant for a variety of reasons. Solon is close to Highway 422, it is within the known market for Yours Truly, and the company has connections with the building's owner, the Davis Development Group.

Not to mention, there's a general hankering for more restaurants in the Solon area.

“Our residents and business community have been asking for more restaurants. This particular gem is a proven Cleveland favorite and is sure to thrive in Solon. The pick-up window for pre-placed carry-out and catering orders is a terrific option for our busy business community employees who want freshly made and consistently good food at the ready,” said Angee Shaker, director of business development.
