The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Boston Mills/Brandywine lift operator had $1,000 worth of ski boots lifted from him while he was at a self-serve car wash on Fishcreek Road.

received a call at 2:27 p.m. Dec. 4 from a Hudson man, 18, who reported that his Dalbello Krypton and Full Tilt Hot Dogger ski boots valued at $500 each had been stolen.

The man said the theft occurred sometime between 1 and 1:30 p.m. at Ultimate Wash. He told police he had placed the ski boots in front of his 2009 Toyota Tundra truck and they were stolen while he was away from the vehicle getting coins to operate the cash wash.
