5 Ways Stow Patch Can Help You & Your Student

It's a new school year, and that means new class schedules, clubs and after-school sports practices.

At Stow Patch, we know it's tough for parents to stay involved, juggling PTA news, getting students to practices and getting people involved in fundraisers. 

Take a tour of some of our features that can help you interact with your school community and have stress-free, happy school year.

1. Announcements | Did you know we have a free bulletin board for all your school announcements? Whether you're looking for volunteers for the latest PTO project or want to tell everyone about the debate team's latest win, we want you to post it here. Email Amanda.Harnocz@Patch.com the link and she'll even feature it front-and-center on the Stow Patch homepage.

2. Events | Post your call out for Stow residents to sport their finest Bulldog gear to the football games, or share your garage sale on our free calendar. Just like Announcements, email Amanda.Harnocz@Patch.com the link and she'll feature it front-and-center on the homepage.

3. Local Voices | We love to, but we can't make it to every game. With one editor per site, it just isn't possible. But, many parents are at every football, basketball or soccer game.  And, Patch and its readers want to keep up with the local sports teams. Write a little about the wining goal — or just give us the final score — from the game or band performance using our Local Voices tool. Or maybe you have some thoughts about what's happening at any of the schools in the district or what's happening at the latest Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education meeting — tell us all about it! All of our blog submissions are featured on the front page of our site.

4. Pics & Clips | Got photos from an event you'd like to share? Just upload them here! We look for new user-submitted photos from this gallery to feature all over our site every day, but email Amanda.Harnocz@Patch.com the link and she'll be sure to feature it front-and-center on the site.
