This police blotter item boils down to one question: who owns the washing machine? A woman living with two sisters on Mac Drive recently moved out. One of the sisters called because at the end of June the ex-roommate returned and took a washing machine with her when she left again.  The washing machine did not belong to her, according to the sister in the police report. Police said the woman claimed the washing machine was hers. The ex-roommate told police that it was hers and she had sold it for $40.  Theft is a first-degree misdemeanor in this situation.
