A public meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 8 at the Akron-Summit County Public Library - Main Library located at 60 South High Street in Akron to discuss local and regional transportation issues.
Among the topics to be discussed by the Citizens Involvement Committee (CIC) of the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS) is the new Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan. The plan identifies how the Greater Akron area will improve transit services for persons with disabilities, the elderly and lower-income individuals.
