📰 News we're reading

• Stow sets regulations for future data centers on water, energy, noise (cleveland.com) — Stow City Council has approved new zoning rules for potential data centers, setting strict standards for water use, energy, air emissions and noise before any project can be built. Developers will need to prove utility capacity, limit noise, favor cleaner backup power and meet setback requirements, giving the city leverage to deny or modify projects that strain local resources.

• Stow officials consider expanded safety education to avoid e-bike crashes (cleveland.com) — Stow officials are weighing better crash tracking and expanded safety education as e-bike use grows, after about 10 car-versus-bike crashes since April. Police may begin logging e-bike incidents separately and could broaden public training, though no serious crashes have been reported and no new action was taken yet.

• Hudson Police Report Sex Offense Cases, Warrant Arrests (nordoniahills.news) — Hudson's latest police log includes several incidents tied to Stow residents and Stow Road, including a suspended-license citation and property damage near Ravenna Street and Stow Road. The report also details ongoing sex offense investigations, warrant arrests, traffic stops, mental health calls and various property and fraud complaints that may affect people who live, work or travel between Hudson and Stow.
