It was a cold day in Northeast Ohio, but there was no denying the warmth and love that was felt at my future sister-in-laws baby shower :) I was honored to be able to host this event for my new family, so I wanted to make it extra special. I decided on a "Baby, It's Cold Outside" theme to bring a little light to the gloomy weather we've been having lately.I spent a lot of time making some personalized touches but it was well worth it in the end. I really hope she enjoyed it as much as I did!
In an attempt to play off of the winter season, I decided on snowflakes and pine cones as my main focal point, using white, brown, and soft pink (since she's having a girl) as the color scheme. Also, in an effort to save money on floral, I went with babies breath centerpieces. Simple and affordable!
P.S.-One thing I would advise when using pink table cloths is to make sure they still appear pink when you unfold them. The ones I purchased looked light pink in the package, but when unfolded, were very translucent and almost appeared white :(
I wanted to have a little fun with the cute fireplace in the party room as well. I spent a night cutting out paper snowflakes which I attached to twine and hung along the mantle. I really like how it turned out!
