Charring Cross Drive Resident Reports Two Break-ins

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

received two reports of break-ins two days apart from a resident of the 3800 block of Charring Cross Drive.

The man, 25, first called police at 6:05 p.m. March 9 to report that someone broke into his home between 11 a.m. and 9:20 p.m. March 8 and stole a Radio Shack video camera receiver valued at $50 and a VHS tape valued at $1.

The suspect had entered the residence by unknown means, as there were no signs of forced entry.

The man called police a second time at 8:20 p.m. March 11 to report that between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. that day, someone broke in and stole an Audiobahn subwoofer valued at $50.

A police reported indicated force was used in the second incident to gain access to the home through a back door.
