City Council: Bath Salts, Storm Improvement Among Topics of Discussion

  • Stow City Council committees on Monday moved items out of committee for consideration at Thursday’s regular council meeting, including an amended contract with Arcadis U.S. Inc. for further study of a . 
  • The Roads and Safety Committee agreed to kill proposed bath salts legislation that was rendered unnecessary by a recent statewide ban on “bath salts” and similar designer drugs.  
  • The Finance Committee moved forward with plans to authorize bids for the Mohican Road Extension Storm Improvement plan to relieve flooding in that neighborhood and a review of the 2010 Community Reinvestment Area’s annual report on local businesses.
