DECA ICDC 2015

STOW, OH--Two students from Stow-Munroe Falls High School’s junior DECA (An Association of Marketing Students) Club participated at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Fla., from April 25-29. The ICDC is held each year for the top DECA students from each state (and overseas countries) to compete at the international level in their chosen business event.

Kristina Kunarac participated in the Accounting Applications Series Event. Kristina took a 100-question exam and had two role plays. Zachary Taylor was a “voting delegate” for the state of Ohio. Zachary’s role as “voting delegate” was to be involved in the election process and cast a vote for the new national DECA President for the 2015-2016 year.

DECA Club is a part of the International Business & Marketing Institute Career Program at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the world. DECA’s high school division includes 200,000 members in 3,500 schools.
