SMFHS DECA Club hosted their annual prom fashion show event on Friday, March 6, in the high school auditorium. The senior DECA club organized and implemented the entire event with assistance from the junior DECA club.
Outside businesses and programs that donated their time, tuxes, gowns, makeup, and hair designs were Tuxedo Junction, David’s Bridal, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Kent Roosevelt Cosmetology Career Program. Talent during the show was provided by Stow students from singing, dancing, and baton twirling.
“Event planning is a business that is always in demand, said DECA President, Ashley Ostrowski. We begin planning when we come back from our holiday vacation by breaking down into committees with specific tasks and timelines. Each committee is then responsible for ensuring that our show is smooth running and successful.“
