Eat. Drink. Promote. — Stow Guys Start New Online Marketing Company

Everyone likes to eat and drink ... but Stow residents Matt White and Shon Christy also like to promote, which is why the duo recently started a new business to help promote patronism for restaurant businesses via the Internet. 

Christy and White, who already own local businesses, recently launched Eat.Drink.Promote., an online marketing company that helps restaurants, bars and other foodservice companies utilize social media, search engine optimization, website design and digital signage to generate buzz, drive traffic, and ultimately improve their bottom line. 

“Of all the industries that can benefit from online marketing, restaurants and bars might be at the top of the list,” said Christy.“Social media, especially, has created such a great opportunity for these establishments to thrive.”

Christy and co-founder White (who also ) each own online marketing businesses already, but they said they recognized the opportunity in the foodservice industry not only here locally, but nationally as well.

“Each of us offers specific expertise and knowledge in the industry ... and combined, our team is able to offer more than a decade of experience, even though the company is only just getting off the ground," said White.

Eat.Drink.Promote. already has several clients and expects to have a nationwide portfolio by summer, said White.  

“We’ve been thrilled with the response so far,” said Christy. “Everyone is really beginning to understand the value of investing in social media and other online marketing activities.”

White said another perk to the service is that it is affordable. 

"Eat.Drink.Promote. is very conscious of restaurant and bar budgets, and understands that independent establishments don’t have tons of money to spend every month on such activities," he said. "So, various packages are available, depending on goals and budgets. And, every dollar is tracked and measured to ensure the return on investment."
