Come to the Akron Zoo's Home Educators Day to learn about the zoo's programs specific to home schoolers. The zoo offers educational programs that include home school workshops, animal encounters, on-grounds programs and tours, field trips, and Zoo School Wednesdays.
Enjoy a fun day at the zoo, which includes coupons for the Komodo Kingdom Cafe and the zoo's gift shop. Children will also get a free ride on the train. The day is free for a family of four; additional family members will have to pay regular admission rates. Registration is required because space is limited.
