Jazz Piano Concert

• Bill Dobbins will present a free concert featuring rarely heard Duke Elington music for piano.

The music compositions range from Duke Ellington's first recorded solo piano composition,Black Beauty (1928), through musical sections from the Sacred Concerts and Suites of the late 1960's.

Even the most ardent enthusiast will find at least a few unfamiliar gems in this colorful stylistically diverse program.

A free-will offering will be taken to benefit music training for Youth of Akron's North Hill.
