Fiddler on FIRE!
Join violin virtuoso Krista Solars at
the library on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. as she presents an enthusiastic
concert entitled Burnin’ Up the Fiddle. Solars has played in the Akron Youth
Symphony and was a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra. She is a
graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a bachelor’s degree in violin
performance and has performed with the Oberlin Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.
Solars is currently pursuing her master’s degree in violin performance at
Indiana University while also studying baroque violin and continuing her fiddle
playing. She has released four professionally recorded CDs. Please call
