Where/When: 2928 Riverview Rd., Akron; Friday at 7 p.m.

Why Go: Naturalist Maureen McGinty leads this 10-mile round-trip ride into Akron that explores the history and nature of the Towpath Trail. Helmets are required. 

Price: Free

Where/When: Sarah's Vineyard, 1204 W. Steels Corners Rd., Cuyahoga Falls; Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why Go: It's the Ninth Annual Summer Solstice Wine, Art and Blues Festival at Sarah's Vineyard. Enjoy music, taste Ohio wines and browse through the jewelry, pottery, prints, handmade tiles, handmade soaps, stained glass, metal work, wood work, fabric art and photographs that will be on display for your shopping pleasure.

Price: $8. Parking is free.

Where/When: Lock 3, 220 S Main St, Akron; Saturday at 7 a.m.

Why Go: The Autism Society, Greater Akron Chapter is holding its first annual Akron Walks for Autism, a walk and 5K run that benefits the local chapter.
