Help a Family by Having Someone Else Wrap Your Gifts

Volunteers will wrap your presents for a donation at Fishcreek Elementary Dec. 19 and 20.

By having someone else wrap your presents for a donation, you could give the gift of generosity and neighborly love to local families this Christmas.

On Dec. 19 and 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at, PTA volunteers will be on hand to wrap Christmas presents for a donation at your discretion.

The money will go toward Singing for Smiles, a charity started by student Taylor Johns. Money could be used for supplies, gifts and cash for 12 needy families in the area.

She and a choir group will sing Christmas songs for donations while volunteers wrap presents. The charity was started to help local families who have fallen on hard times, said PTA member Jen Taylor.

Other donations of clothing and personal hygeine items are also accepted. Look at the Singing for Smiles Facebook page for more information.
