Ages 5-7 : 10:30am to 12:00pm

Everything included in the Kent State Soccer Day Camp curriculum meets three objectives for soccer: technique, development and FUN. The program includes varied, imaginative, active and fun exercises / activities. Each of these exercises targets one of two facets of play (technique and tactics). The camp will expand the player’s technique and comfort level with the soccer ball, while teaching the player the proper tactical and decision making to what he or she sees. It will improve the player’s technical ability to put their decision making into action. Finally, it will increase the pace at which the player puts all three together: technique, tactical, and execution. The camp is designed for the current recreational and travel-level player in mind for both girls and boys. It has been created to offer an experience which is different than the traditional soccer day camps out there. The Kent State soccer coaches offer a unique, academy-style experience that will benefit any recreational and travel player, all while doing so in small groups allowing for one-on-one interaction with our staff.

Staff includes Kent State head coach, Rob Marinaro, assistant coaches Abby Richter and Pat Sweeney as well as current and former Kent State soccer players.
