LifeCenter Plus Fit for the Future
Family Fun 5k run/walk and 1 mile Fun Run!
Saturday, October 5th,
2013 is the family friendly 5k and 1 mile fun run! The run/walk is designed to
get the whole family active and encourages everyone to lead an active lifestyle
for the future. The event will support Akron Children’s Hospital programs
battle childhood obesity.
Packet pickup will take place
at LifeCenter Plus on Friday, October 4th from 9am-8pm at LifeCenter.

The 5k takes off at 8:30am in
the LifeCenter Plus parking lot through the Metro Parks trail and finishes in
the LCP parking lot off of Norton Road. Stop by the health fair after the race
to talk with local vendors as well as LifeCenter Plus departments to learn
additional steps that can be taken to lead a healthier lifestyle for all ages
The 1 mile Fun Run takes place
in the back parking lot of LCP starts at 8:45am and is $5.00 for anyone 13 and up.

Register now on active.com, at LCP, or late registration can be
done on race day. Registration is $20
for anyone 13 and older; $18 for LCP and SARC members. 12 and under
participants are free but must still register. Late registration is $30 and
packet pickup will also take place the morning of the event until 7:45am.
