Stow is home to Summit County's Mitt Romney Victory Center. The grand opening was July 7, 2012 at 3889 Darrow Rd.  There were about 100 people who attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony where the Romney campaign bus stopped. Speakers included Congressman Jim Renacci, Stow Councilman Matt Riehl, State Representative , State Sen. Frank LaRose and Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Robart.
