Look What's Moving Into the Former Liquor Store
Fire Water Fuel received a building permit from the city to move into the empty store on Kent Road.

The former liquor store at the 3200 block of Kent Road will be filled with a new business called Fire Water Fuel.
No, not the boozy kind of Firewater despite the building's former use as the store. This company is trying to return to the source of regenerative energy thinking for a sustainable future, according to its website. Read more about what the company does here.
The 3,500-square-foot space near has been empty for just less than a year, according to Rob Kurtz, the city's planning director.

He said the zoning certificate for a change of occupancy was issued June 15 at 3274 Kent Rd. for a sales office for the Fire Water Fuel.
"I don't know the status of any building renovation," he said, adding the building is zoned for community retail.
